Route Rationale

We want you to fall for the local festivities Thompson Okanagan has to offer! Day trip worthy adventures that get you outside enjoying the crisp Autumn air while picking your favourite pumpkin or getting lost in a corn maze.
The seasons are changing, and we want you to make the most of it!

Following guidance from the Thompson Okanagan Tourism Association (TOTA, 2012):

  • As one of the priorities TOTA has moving forward is focusing on experience-based themes, this tour will offer local flavours during the shoulder season.
  • Getting friends and families of all ages out in nature while supporting local agriculture tourism in the shoulder season.
  • Addresses their top issue of ‘seasonality of demand’ by offering local day trip adventures during the transition from Summer activities to Winter.
